Katherine Hughes / Design Director

Katherine brings to Stoltze her expertise in and passion for typography. In addition to designing, she teaches at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Before joining Stoltze, she worked independently as Katherine Hughes Graphic Design, creating identities, print collateral, publications, and websites for clients in the fine and performing arts. She holds an MFA in Graphic Design from RISD, and a BA in Studio Art from Smith College. Katherine lives in Somerville, where she spends a lot of time thinking about letterforms and the balmy winters of her native California.
