Rhode Island School of Design

In 2008, Stoltze Design was invited to redesign the Rhode Island School of Design admissions catalog coinciding with the inauguration of John Maeda as RISD President. The catalog employs the refrain “RISD IS” and each section houses thoughtfully curated visuals and writing that tell the story of RISD including its approach to learning, facilities, faculty, and community. En masse, the book is not just an overview — it is a compelling and dynamic portrait of the school to entice future students and their parents.
