Stoltze Design has a lot to be thankful for, not the least of which are our fantastic clients, creative partners and amazing vendors.
A highlight this year is our partnership with the Davis Museum at Wellesley College on a series of exhibition catalogs for their inspiring roster of shows:
• Parvis Tanavoli (critically acclaimed "father of modern Iranian sculpture")
• Bunny Harvey: Four Decades (on display through December 13)
• New View: 2014 Faculty Exhibition
In addition to these completed projects we have two more in the works:
• The Game Worlds of Jason Rohrer
• Käthe Kollwitz and the Women of War
For each catalog, we worked closely with the curators to capture both the spirit of the art and the experience of the exhibition.
To that end, the books include special construction and print techniques from die cuts and exposed smyth sewn binding, to industrial carton stock and sumptuous gold ink. We are also working with the Davis on various marketing materials and posters to support these exhibitions.
We've been thrilled with this collaborationand look forward to our upcoming endeavors with the Davis!
