We were thrilled to find out Monday that our Edgerton Digital Collections website was selected as the winner of the Content Integration category at the 16th Annual MITX Interactive Awards! The glitzy sold-out ceremony (hosted by actor John Michael Higgins) was held on December 5 at the Sheraton Boston, along with more than 1,000 industry professionals from all over New England.
We are grateful for the opportunity to work on such an exciting project... the content was truly inspiring. Our additional thanks and congratulations to the whole team who worked on the Edgerton site with us: Suzanna Listanti, Deborah Douglas, Claire Calcagno, Ariel Weinberg, Alan Doyle and MITCHO for their hard work on content and programming of the site and to our partners: Edgerton Center, AMPS, Institute Archives and OEIT.
As exciting as it was to be called up on stage to accept the award, the thrill was short-lived when Clif (with only 2 drinks in him... well, 3 at the most) slipped on a patch of wet marble floor on his way out, shattering the conspicuous plaque. (But not to worry—Clif is intact, and the award elves are already hard at work making us a new one.)
